Senior Assistance Program

Housing Improvements

Our Senior Assistance Program – Housing Improvement services focus on environmental modifications to improve accessibility, safety, and security of the home.

Background checked handymen install grab bars, build small threshold ramps and chair platforms. Check smoke detectors and perform other minor safety related services.

Outside of the Senior Assistance Program (SAP), our Senior-Do List provides a variety of helpful services designed to make everyday tasks easier and help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home.

Services are available at a fixed labor cost, making it easy to know what to expect. Please note that not all services qualify for grant funding. Private-pay options are available for all services, allowing seniors to access assistance when grant funding is not available.

Every dollar received through private-pay services, along with donations, helps us extend support to another senior in need. When you choose Senior-Do List, you’re not only getting a helping hand—you’re helping us lend one to someone else.
