Housing Improvements

Our Senior Assistance Program – Housing Improvement services focus on environmental modifications to improve accessibility, safety, and security of the home.

Background checked handymen install grab bars, build small threshold ramps and chair platforms. Check smoke detectors and perform other minor safety related services.

SENIOR DO LIST

Outside of the SAP, our Senior-Do List offers the following services with a fixed labor cost.

  • Installation of grab bars
  • Check/Install smoke detectors
  • Repair door locks
  • Installation of handheld shower heads
  • Installation/building of chair platforms
  • Installation/building of bed rails
  • Install toilet, basic
  • Replace vanity faucet
  • Remove shower door
  • Install shower door
  • Install ceiling fan
  • Replace kitchen faucet
  • Replace garbage disposal
  • Replace ice maker
  • Replace door locks
  • Repair door
  • Hang curtain Rods
  • Repair toilet flange
  • Replace toilet supply line
  • Repair vanity faucet

  • Repair sheetrock (no ceilings)
  • Moving furniture within the home
