Vitas Merritt Island Sewing Group

This social group meets twice a month to make comfort items for Vitas’ patients.  Some ladies crochet, some knit and some sew.  There are a variety of support projects to work on. Projects include making Memory Bears for caregivers of Vitas patients, Military Bears for veterans, warm hats, booties, and lap robes as well as walker bags, all purpose bags, bed rail covers, clothing protectors and other items as requested.  It is a time of sharing of talents and self!
