VITAS Seminar Series: New Beginning Life After Loss

February 19, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

VITAS Innovative Hospice Care will host a five week seminar series “New Beginning: Life After Loss” at the Sunflower House. The changes can be overwhelming following a loss. We feel like our world has been turned upside down. Sometimes even simple tasks can seem insurmountable.

Support groups can provide information and guidance to help us find our way through these transitions. VITAS Innovative Hospice Care of Brevard County offers bereavement support groups for people who would like to learn new ways to reclaim moments of contentment and happiness while honoring those who have died. Topics and dates are as follows:

February 19, “Starting ‘a-new’ After Loss”

      March 19,  “Transitioning : Caregiver to Self-Care”

April 16, “Branching Out : New Relationships”

May 21, “Tending the Spirit : Healing Grief”

June 18, “Now What? New Season of Life”

While there is no cost for the group, pre-registration is required. You can attend either one or all five parts of the series.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons needing special accommodations to participate in this presentation should contact the Sunflower House at (321) 4524341 at least 7 days prior to the meeting.
