The Seniors Assistance Program provides short-term supportive services to seniors, age 60 and over. Services include housing improvement, short-term homemaking and personal care, legal advice and assistance, and transportation to congregate meal sites.
Housing Improvement services focus on environmental modifications to improve accessibility, safety, and security of the home. Background checked handymen install grab bars, build access ramps, and perform other minor home repairs. To be eligible individuals must be 60 years of age or older and own their home. Home care aides may help with housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and doing laundry. They may also run errands, prepare light meals, and provide non-medical personal care. For additional information call (321) 806-3802.
